With just 72 hours (less now!) to go in the campaign, we have ALMOST unlocked ALL stretch goals! Over the weekend, we passed the $3,750 threshold to unlock the black and white Nova Scorpion pin pair, and you will now be able to select them in your survey at the end of the campaign.

There are still two items to unlock by Thursday! I have a second 2-part keychain design that will be unlocked at $3,900, and one last pin design (Constellation Moth) that will unlock at $4,200.
If the campaign ends and we are still a little short of the final $4,200, I will still have an option to fund the Constellation Moth through the survey and PreOrder store!

Pins: 13 Options, including re-colors of some designs! All pins will be 2 inches tall/wide (except ants which will be 1.75 inches) and most will feature gold plating with 3 designs having rainbow plating instead.

Current Timeline:
February 13th (just three days away!): campaign ends and you will no longer be able to change your pledge (though you will still be able to add new items to your pledge in the survey!)
End of February: Cards charged, surveys go out. Here is where your credit card will be charged, and you should receive your survey around the same time. In the survey, you'll be able to choose which pins, keychains, and stickers you want! You will also be able to add anything you missed in the campaign there.
Early March: I receive funds, designs are sent to manufacturer for production, and production begins.
Mid to Late April: Items arrive to me for sorting and quality control, and I can begin packing your orders!
Mid to Late May: I plan (hope!) to have all orders packed, shipped, and arriving to you by the end of May! As with any pre-order, issues may arise with production, packing, and shipping and your items may arrive later than expected (especially with international orders) and this timeline may get pushed back a little. Fingers crossed everything goes smoothly- but be prepared and keep an eye out for updates.

Totally optional, but I've also made a quick poll to see which design(s) you guys are most excited for! With the campaign end and survey so close, I could just wait and see which designs end up being the most popular, but I would love to hear your feedback anyways :)
Vote for your favorite pin design!

Good afternoon everyone!
As you may have seen, I have already added three new stretch goals to the campaign, based on the results of the poll I posted a few days ago. By overwhelming majority, (getting more than double the votes of any other design) the next item to unlock is the black and white scorpion pair! These will be soft enamel with rainbow plating, and the white design will be flipped so they can be displayed together as a pair or as bookends around other pins.


After the scorpions have been unlocked, the Stag Beetle 2-part keychain will be next! Above is the more finalized design, though I think I may play with the colors a bit more before I order them.

The last goal I'm adding is a Constellation Moth pin design! I was super surprised to see just how many of you voted for it, considering the only info I had for this design when I posted the poll was that it would be moth-themed. This design is based on the cecropia moth, and features the constellations Cassiopeia (lower wing) and Pegasus (upper wing). This design will also have a blue pearl effect on the wings (dark blue) like the original Nova Scorpion design for a swirly space-like effect. Also like the previous pin designs, this pin will have gold plating and two pin posts for extra security and to prevent twisting.

As a reminder, there are new add-ons available too! You can now add individual stickers and sticker sheets to your pledge. There are three individual stickers and three sheet designs you'll be able to choose from during the survey portion of the campaign at the end of February.


All stickers will be made with waterproof vinyl, and the individual stickers are heavy duty and very durable. I haven't tried putting stickers from a sticker sheet through a dishwasher to test for durability, but the manufacturer has assured me that they are waterproof. The individual stickers are definitely dishwasher safe, however- I accidentally washed a pair of jeans with a stack of them still in the pocket and they came out undamaged!!

As of writing this post, we have raised $3,640! That means we're just over $100 away from unlocking the Black and White Scorpion Pair. With these add-ons, we'll reach the next goal in no time :)

ALL backers for this project will still receive a FREE Galaxy Bee sticker with their pledge, but if you want extra stickers with this design you can add it to your pledge in the survey or with an "add sticker" add on. All backers who pledge for 5 or more pins will also receive a FREE sticker sheet with their pledge, which you will choose during the survey portion at the end of the month.

Once the campaign is over, it will be about a week or two before surveys go out and you'll get to choose which pins, keychains, and stickers you want. There will also be opportunities to add additional items to your pledge in the survey, so don't worry if you forgot to add something or realize you forgot to increase your pledge before the 13th.

With just seven days left in the campaign, and with all previous goals SMASHED already, I want to introduce another stretch goal! This time, I'm having you VOTE on the next goal! Attached to this update is a poll with a few new design options to choose from: a blue version of the Gas Giant Lady Bug pin, a pink version of the Butterfly Nebula pin, a pair of Scorpion pin re-colors (left and right facing versions), a new 2-part keychain featuring a stag beetle and sun charm, and a new moth pin.
I haven't finished designing the moth pin quite yet, but if it's the most popular option I will post a new update as soon as I finish the design!


If in this next week we sail through the last goal, I will definitely consider adding the second-most popular option as well!

Notes on the designs:
The moth, butterfly, and ladybug pins will all have gold plating if made, and the scorpion pins will have the same rainbow plating and soft enamel as the World-Eater Spider recolor. Scorpion pins will also be available both individually and as a set for a small discount. I plan on having one of them be mirrored so they can be displayed together. All of these will also have two pin posts.
Stag beetle keychain will be two pieces, like the atlas beetle keychain unlocked earlier. Design shown is just a sketch and will be finished soon!

Quick update for everyone!
First- thank you all for the extra support this weekend! Thanks to you, we have unlocked the Pastel World-Eater Spider pin design! I'm particularly excited for this one since I've never done rainbow plating before :)

We are also SUPER close to the next goal- the Butterfly Nebula Pin! At time of writing, we are about $150 away from unlocking this design.

Next- I've been getting a lot of requests for sticker versions of pins and for more add-on options, so I designed some stickers and sticker sheets! There will be 3 new sticker designs to pick from: Galaxy Snail and two versions of the Butterfly Nebula (pink and gold).


I also designed three sticker sheets! This is something else I haven't made before, but I'm very excited to show you guys the designs I came up with:

First is a 6 sticker assortment featuring sticker versions of several pin designs from the campaign. These include the Sun and Moon Beetles, Nova Scorpion, Butterfly Nebula, Galaxy Snail, and Gas Giant Ladybug.

The second sticker sheet has just 5 stickers, but with a more decorative background in case you (like me) like displaying your sticker sheets for a while before using them. This sheet will have the World-Eater Spider, Sun and Moon Beetles, and two versions of the Gas Giant Lady bug- one in the regular orange and one in blue! All of these on a spiderweb background to go with the spider pin/ sticker designs.

The last sticker sheet is a bit special- I want to provide an option for folks who love the Space Cutter Ant pin set but can't get all the pins. This sheet will come with TWELVE (12) Space Cutter Ant stickers in 6 colors/versions, so you can make a nice long line of them on your notebook, laptop, etc. I also specifically chose rainbow colors for the planets so you can arrange them in a subtle rainbow pride flag!


I would also like to announce that all orders of 5 or more pins will get a free sticker sheet of their choice!

Another update for you all! I am absolutely BLOWN AWAY by the continued support from all of you on this project- we even hit 100 backers yesterday!
To celebrate, I made two ALL NEW pin designs to add to the campaign, a re-color of a previously unlocked design, AND I am working on (at least one) more pin-recolor.

New Stretch Goals:

Galaxy Snail- Unlocked!
Rainbow Plated World-Eater Spider (re-color)- Unlocks at $2700
Butterfly Nebula- Unlocks at $3000

Once the Butterfly Nebula pin has been unlocked, I plan on adding one or two more re-colors to the campaign. At the moment I am planning on adding a rainbow-plated version of the Scorpion design, and possibly a blue version of the Gas Giant Ladybug. If there's enough demand for larger pin sets/ quantities, I will also consider adding a free mini-pin design for backers who pledge for 5 or more pins!

I have also added new pledge levels~
You can now pledge for 5 or 6 pin sets. Once the campaign has ended, you will receive a survey which will allow you to choose from any of the unlocked pin designs.
You can now also add on a non-specific pin, which you will be able to pick during the survey, instead of adding-on a specific pin design. If you already added a specific pin to your pledge, the add-on will remain and you will still receive that pin! This option was added in case there were folks who couldn't/ didn't want to decide just yet.

If you want to change your pledge level, you can do so at any time before the end of the campaign on February 13th. You can always add more to your pledge anytime, including after the campaign ends and in the survey.
